You have a Target coupon of $1471 and you need to know how much will you save on your purchase if the discount is 3 percent.
Solution:
Amount Saved = Original Price x Discount in Percent / 100
Amount Saved = (1471 x 3) / 100
Amount Saved = 4413 / 100
Amount Saved = $44.13 (answer).
In other words, a 3% discount for a purchase with an original price of $1471 equals $44.13 (Amount Saved), so you'll end up paying 1426.87.
